Happy 7th Anniversary to my blog Ava-M-Oh-So-Chic

I’ve been on a brief hiatus, however, I always know there’s a space here where I can chat about my favorite things and share personal stories straight from the pages of my journal. Whether I’m sharing something serious or unserious, light or heavy, fashion or pop culture, it’s a space my 14 year old self created to share all of the above alongside my instagram feed, a blog that sometimes feels like a virtual diary for the world to read.

Here we are once again, celebrating another year of something near and dear to me. Thank you Jesus for the conversations, people, places and opportunities that have come from this blog of mine. Huge thanks to the people in my life who have read my articles and supported me since the beginning. Love you mom, dad and Jax!

As I’ve gotten older and busier my blog has taken a backseat more times than not. I’ve ventured into a few other creative spaces such as launching my podcast in 2021, occasionally uploading vlogs on YouTube and writing for the LSU newspaper which has been nothing but fun. Long story short, I haven’t published articles on my blog in a while but that never keeps me from doing what I love…writing. Sometimes I write articles but end up keeping them to myself. I think in this life you should know what to hold on to for yourself and what to share with others.

But it’s time to dust off the cobwebs on the ole blog stay tuned
